Financial times are tough, especially when it comes to personal transportation. The price of gas has eased momentarily, but is still highly unpredictable. New car purchases are suffering, too. Getting competitive auto insurance quotes is still an attractive endeavor as well, but not just because of the economy.

Car insurance companies are coming up with more and more special perks to get you to check them out. For example, who wouldn’t want to be able to pay the same premium even after being in an accident and making a claim? It seems unfair that premiums should go up even when an accident wasn’t your fault or an “act of God” occurred, and the insurance companies are listening.

Oct 12th 2008 Trying to Lose That Last 10 Pounds

So I’ve been dieting pretty steadily since late spring.  Actually dieting isn’t the right word because I really have adopted a healthier lifestyle and changed my eating habits overall.  I have been introducing changes gradually and never more than I could handle.  I have been exercising regularly.  Not excessively, just a walk on the treadmill three times a week.

But I feel stuck now.  I am just ten pounds away from my goal and I seem to have plateaued.  My wife has been bugging me to try a colon cleanse.  I don’t know about that.  I read some Evercleanse reviews and it seems promising, but it really isn’t my style.  I know this can happen and I shouldn’t get discouraged.  I should stick to what has been working and everything will fall into place, but a quick fix that really works would be very welcome with how I am feeling right now.

Oct 12th 2008 Great exercise routine for beginners

If you are looking for a good resource that will help you get started with exercising, let me share my story with you.  I have started trying to workout for the last 5 years or so.  Each time that I begin to workout and get into shape, I go overboard and hurt myself.

That usually takes me out of the gym for 6 to 8 weeks, therefore ruining my desire to lose my weight.

Well, I finally wised up and started looking online for a good weight loss exercise for beginners program and found a good resource. 

The MyFitnessMotivator.com is a good resource that has some great advice and offers some good resources too of programs that I recoommend to help you start exercises and lose weight without hurting yourself.

Oct 4th 2008 TV Converter Box Help

Since I am an electronics expert I have recently been getting some questions from my readers about DTV converter boxes.  Most of these questions have been directed toward how to hook it up to a TV. Since I have gotten multiple questions about this I will offer some tips here.  First make sure that your converter box is powered on. Second, make sure the RCA cords are connected correctly to the converter box and TV. Third, make sure you TV is set to channel 3 or 4.  Finally, make sure your TV is set to the correct input setting.  If none of these tips helps you to get your DTV converter box up and running then go ahead and send me another message and I’ll try to give you individual help.
